I was told by a friend about Iron and Oak and finally got a chance to swing by and I’m glad i did! The atmosphere was great there is a brewery in the front, the Iron and Oak is next with plenty of picnic tables outside too enjoy! The food was fantastic! The brisket was one of the best I have ever had, the sauces and side all homemade and great and the pulled pork sandwich came with old school white bread!! I am a life long restaurant guy and sold food for years and I only give 5 star reviews and Iron and Oak delivers!
The Absolute Best Around!! It has been a few years since I have been down here, and I feel it's even better than it was last time! Just when you couldn't get any better!!
This is a wonderful little barbecue joint that serves delicious slow cooked brisket, pulled pork, and sausages as well. Their potato salad was fantastic and they have a variety of bbq sauces to choose from. The place got busy as soon as they opened, so get it while you can! Love that there’s a brewery right next to it with a variety of craft beers.
Great beer and the bbq smelled amazing. Everything we ordered was amazing. The brisket was spot on and so was the pork. The brisket chili was awesome. Can't wait to return.
This place is legit. Seriously, so good. It’s a simple menu but that means what they serve is all going to be delicious. I didn’t see any non-red meat options (like chicken) which was fine by me, but may be important to others. I can’t wait to go back and try the ribs. The brewery next door was also good and so refreshing on this summer day.
Food was very tasty and they had blue grass music that grew from 4-12 people that showed up for jam session. The lines kept growing it’s obviously a popular local spot. It next to a beer joint. We had brisket tacos, brisket chili, double cheese burger and pulled pork sammy. They have hot sauces in a pump for you to serve yourself.
After an adventurous day we stopped by Iron and Oak Brisket for an early dinner. Seating outside was comfortable as we were able to find a shady spot. We ordered a brisket platter with slaw and BBQ hash browns and a pulled pork platter with slaw and gravied mashed potatoes. Our food arrived in a few minutes and it was delicious. I would recommend Iron and Oak Brisket Co.
Great food and service. Very busy on weekends. Brisket is out of this world and usually gets sold out quickly. Pork and ribs are very delicious, too.
In town for the week, we found this place and loved it so much that we went twice! Solid pork, amazing brisket, great sides (shoutout to the dill mac salad- wow!). Staff and atmosphere were wonderful. They even gave our dog a little meat treat. Don’t miss this place!
Asheville's newest hip bbq. A classic NC roadside bbq joint. Excellent food and service in a no nonsense outdoor environment. Connected to Riverside Rhapsody brewery with a nice selection of locally brewed suds. Great experience all around.
